This summer I am excited to be working for Accenture, in Houston within their consulting group. I will briefly give overviews of each week while I experience a learning curve like I never have before. The following is key tasks and takeaways from my first week on the job in a brand new city.
Key Tasks

The program leads constructively proposed changes most revolving around relevance to the
audience
· Finalized travel plans for SLC
· Updated Town hall PPT for Krista from the earlier meeting
· Brought on for SLS initiative
· Taught myself picktochart
· Sat in on a call with Krista
· Lunch with Julianna- learned more about the organizational structure of Accenture
· Created invite for (program) SLS
· Created invite for Performance Achievement SLS
· Updated the schedule for SLS facilitators
· Print out the town hall presentation
· Assisted communications of the Townhall
· Created invite for Workstream 101 L&L with Julianna
· Created Personal SLS
Key Takeaways
In a presentation, it is important to have relevant information to the audience present. I have always known this but it is more difficult when the project is of this size and scope.
The (client) culture is familial. A lot of the people I have met have worked here for long periods of time, and take pride in the number of years they can say they have worked for (client) . Due to this, co-workers know quirks and working habits of each other and there is a constantly changing dynamic that families and friends often see, and co-workers do not always.
The Program is a massive undertaking and responsibility. I am impressed with the trust between (client) and Accenture in order to improve (client program) as a whole. There is inclusivity and transparency with this team, which allows the project of this size to be productive.
